The legal team hires at all levels, including in-house counsel, senior in-house counsel, associate general counsel, contract managers, legal assistants and executive assistants for roles to support our rapidly growing and evolving businesses. Amazon`s IP Ops legal team is looking for an operations analyst to handle administrative matters related to our academic commitments, including university-sponsored research contracts and hiring part-time faculty. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a support team to build and improve systems to manage important relationships with our academic partners as well as other Amazon teams. Responsibilities include project management of legal exams for part-time professors at Amazon, database management of our academic partnerships, and communication with internal stakeholder teams. Other tasks may include the development of new automated training initiatives and process improvement projects. This person will have the opportunity to follow projects with a minimum of advice and guidance until their completion, to take initiatives in the creation and improvement of work processes and to work effectively on a variety of simultaneously active issues, while paying special attention to detail. In addition to academic engagements, this role will also provide occasional administrative support for Amazon`s participation in standards bodies.
