Bristol Law School is one of the largest law schools in England and Wales with nearly two thousand students enrolled, seventeen hundred of whom are enrolled full-time. The school offers academic and professional legal studies. The department`s internal competition, sponsored by Lyons Davidson, is held every school year starting in October. The West of England Interuniversity Moot Court Competition is sponsored by St John`s Chambers, Bristol. Law students won the Princess Alexandra Cup (an interdisciplinary debate competition at Lancaster University)[4] in December 2006 and UWE students won the Springboard-Kaplan International English Language Championship in Cambodia in 2013.
